He's the longest tenured worker in the organization, having begun work for Vince McMahon Snr in 1975. He made his name as a ring host and was the voice of the ring as far as possible up until 2000 when Tony Chimel and Lilian Garcia assumed control over the heft of his obligations. 

Finkel stayed dynamic for the periodic show, however starting 2015 he's scarcely ever included. He's still on an agreement, yet both he and the WWE are content with him not living up to expectations.
